Chrome DevTools now has support for the Filesystem API for viewing the files stored under an origin. You can use that to view/rename/delete files/folders easily. Drop the Filesystem Playground demo ( ) into your origin. That includes viewing stored files very easily using the filesystem: URLs. Use this extension to view/remove files. However, each origin's saved files/folders are obfuscated under directories that won't be easy for you to interact with.įor debugging the Filesystem API, you have a few options: If you're using profiles, there will be profile directories instead of Default. This will force delete the Temp folder with all subfolders and files. For me, at least on Mac OSX, they're stored under /Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/File System for me. The “/s” in this command means to delete the files and folders and the “/q” command means to delete all subfolders and files. Replace “Username” in the command line with your account user name. In Command Prompt window, you can type rd %temp% /s /q command or type rd “C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp” /s /q command to remove the Temp folder in Windows 10.
